As such, refused to pay tax and have instructed for the parcel to be returned. Still waiting on and expecting a refund.......

As you may be aware, customs duties and import taxes may apply to orders shipped from France to the United Kingdom. In accordance with our Terms and Conditions of Sale, which you accepted at the time of purchase, we clearly state under the Shipping and Delivery section:
"Shipping to countries not subject to VAT:
Bike-parts-sea-doo.com has no influence on the amount of customs duties or taxes to be paid in the country of delivery. None of these taxes are included in the total amount of the order. These taxes will be invoiced to the Buyer only at the time of the importation of the goods in the country of delivery and the Buyer will have to pay them upon receipt of the parcel."
We are therefore not responsible for these charges, which are collected directly by the local customs authorities.
We are currently awaiting the return of your order. Once we receive the parcel, we will proceed with the refund in accordance with our return policy.

Nous comprenons parfaitement la situation à laquelle vous avez été confronté et faisons tout notre possible pour vous proposer des prix aussi justes que possible. Cependant, le transporteur nous applique directement un tarif minimum d’expédition, ce qui peut rendre le coût de certains envois élevé. Nous sommes sincèrement désolés si cela vous a semblé excessif.

Review checked and posted on 24/08/2025Het lijkt een gebruikt onderdeel te zijn geweest, maar omdat mijn klant het verpakkingsplastic niet meer had word het niet in behandeling genomen. Hij heeft het savonds uitgepakt en niet gezien, volgende dag zag hij het pas bij daglicht. Logisch dat je niet alle verpakkingen bewaard.
